Sweet cravings can hit you any time of the day. Sometimes during the night too. We know, it's mad mayhem outside and where in the world would you find the bakery of your choice right? Well, we already took that into account! The sweet treats we're about to dive into, can all be made from scratch in the comfort of your kitchen, and without the need for elaborate ingredients. So, without any more delay, let's scan through these 6 easy desserts to make at home, that'll accompany your lockdown sugary hankerings seamlessly! 


1. Oreo Cookie Balls

A handful of ingredients and a set of simple instructions make these oreo cookie balls one of the easiest desserts to make at home. They're sweet and full of texture, and with every bite, your mouth gets flooded with the taste of celebrations!

List Of Ingredients

  • 1 Packet Oreos
  • Packaged Soft Cream Cheese 
  • Kosher Salt
  • Chocolate Chips


Dessert Directions 

  • Crush all the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs with a rolling pin 
  • Add all but 2 tablespoons crushed Oreos to a bowl
  • Add cream cheese & salt and stir until evenly mixed
  • Form mixture into small balls and place on prepared baking sheet 
  • Freeze for 30 minutes or till sufficiently hardened 
  • Dip frozen cookie balls in melted chocolate chips and freeze for another 15 minutes 




2. Peanut Butter Crunch Brownies

If you've always wished to bake your own batch of cookies at home but lack the equipment and skill required, we come bearing great news. You can now make Peanut Butter Coconut cookies without any need for baking at all! Best bit? They're equally loaded with ingredients and flavour!

List Of Ingredients 

  • Melted Salted Butter 
  • Melted Baking Chocolate 
  • 1 Cup Sugar 
  • 2 Eggs 
  • Salt
  • Baking Powder
  • Vanilla Extract
  • All-Purpose Flour 
  • Peanut Butter
  • Chocolate Chips 
  • Crispy Cereal 


Dessert Directions 

  • Mix melted butter, melted chocolate, and sugar in a bowl
  • Add the eggs & vanilla extract, and mix until blended 
  • Add in salt, baking powder, and flour and mix 
  • Pour the brownie batter into a prepared pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes
  • Melt chocolate chips in the microwave and add crispy cereal chunks 
  • Spread the melted chocolate mixture on top of the brownies
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes

3. Banana Split 

This classic childhood dessert comes with a heavy dose of sweetness and nostalgia. Infused with the taste of 3 ice cream varieties and fresh banana, you can prepare this Banana split in just a few easy steps. Don't forget to add the bright cherries on top!

List Of Ingredients 

  • Ice Cream - 1 Scoop Chocolate, 1 Scoop Vanilla & 1 Scoop Strawberry 
  • Banana
  • Chocolate/Caramel Fudge Sauce
  • Whipped Cream
  • Crushed Peanuts 


Dessert Directions 

  • Slice the banana in half down the middle, then slice in half vertically for 4 pieces
  • Place the ice creams scoops around the banana in a dessert bowl
  • Drizzle your choice of sauce and top with whipped cream & crushed peanuts 




4. Nutella Mug-Brownie 

There's no person with an active sweet tooth who can say no to Nutella and mean it. After all, the chocolatey spread is equal parts delicious and instantly comforting. Well, you can now turn this kitchen staple into a glorious brownie that you can eat straight out of your mug!

List Of Ingredients 

  • Nutella 
  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Cocoa Powder
  • Baking Powder
  • Castor Sugar
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Milk 


Dessert Directions 

  • Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and castor sugar in a cup 
  • Add vegetable oil & milk and mix until smooth
  • Add the 2 tablespoons of Nutella & mix again
  • Microwave for 70 seconds
  • Top with ice cream and serve

5. Pineapple Coconut Sorbet

  • Full-Fat Coconut Milk
  • Fresh Or Frozen Pineapple Chunks 
  • Maple Syrup 


Dessert Directions 

  • Add pineapple, coconut milk and maple syrup to a blender
  • Blend until smooth 
  • Pour mixture into an air-tight container and deep-freeze until completely frozen 
  • Let it thaw for 10-50 minutes 
  • Add extra pineapple chunks before serving 




6. 2-Ingredient Chocolate Fudge

  • Condensed Milk 


Dessert Directions 

  • Grease your baking pan with melted butter and line it with parchment paper
  • Cut your dark chocolate into small bits
  • Add condensed milk and chopped chocolate to a heavy-bottomed pan
  • Place on heat and stir till chocolate melts into a smooth mixture
  • Pour the melted chocolate mixture on the baking pan and smoothen
  • Refrigerate for 3-4 hours
